MANUEL-TURIZO

Manuel Turizo (full name Manuel Turizo Zapata) is an urbano and reggaeton singer songwriter and multi-instrumentalist from Colombia whose trademark is his smooth buttery tenor singing voice. He's made major inroads globally to Latin pop. Una Lady Como Tu, the song that he released in 2016, won the Colombian Kids Choice Award in 2017 for Best Song. In Medellin the year of Medellin, the Sony label La Industria Inc. released ADN the debut album of his long-playing career. This album peaked at eighteen in the Top Latin Albums charts. Vaina Loca was a Top Five hit for Ozuna and for him in the following year. In the year 2020, he teamed up with Noriel on Mala Influencia and then released her debut album Dopamina the next year. In 2021, he was as a duo TINI for her hit online track Maldita Foto. In 2023, 2000 with the smash hit La Bachata was released. Turizo was raised in a musical environment, as both his mother & older brother are professional musicians. Turizo has told interviews that music is a must. When he was a kid playing the guitar ukulele and the piano. While his initial career choice was to become a veterinarian the brother Julian encouraged him to enroll in lessons in singing with an Cuban instructor and as a result personally discovering his talent as a performer changed the course of his life.
