Rosalia

Rosalia Vila (aka Rosalia) is a Spanish pop singer and flamenco performer. She has been a part of the fringes of popular and traditional music since her teens she is also involved in other music genres like hip-hop soul and trap. Pepe Habichuela has described her vocals as being sweet, sharp but also having a bit of bite. El Mal Querer is her second album, that was released in the year 2018, and was critically and commercially successful. Following Los Angeles, her debut album, released in 2017, was awarded a Latin Grammy for Best New Artist and also the Latin Grammy nod. The track La Fama featuring the Weeknd appeared in 2021. Motomami, her third album included songwriting collaborations with Cory Henry and James Blake. The set was released in March 2022 following a performance of the single Chicken Teriyaki on Saturday Night Live. Rosalia was first Spanish artist to perform solo in the program. Rosala from Motomami who was awarded the Latin Album of the Year and 3 Latin Grammy Awards in total for Motomami also became the very first female to win one.
